Before all Meditation, you should ensure that you are in a place where you will not be disturbed. You should make sure that you are comfortable, and in a position where you will not lose comfort over time.
Method 1: Simple Breathing Exercise
This is an excellent exercise, that can even be used out-and-about. Sitting in the classroom, standing on the street, this exercise is good for any situation, as it only requires you to breathe and count.
During this exercise, focus only on counting your breaths. This will clear your mind, allowing for either further meditation, or simply for a period of silent peace within yourself.
Breathe in for 1 count, then out for 1 count.
Breathe in for 2 counts, then out for 2 counts.
Breathe in for 3 counts, then out for 3 counts.
Breathe in for 4 count, then out for 4 count.
Breathe in for 5 counts, then out for 5 counts.
Breathe in for 6 counts, then out for 6 counts.
Breathe in for 7 count, then out for 7 count.
Breathe in for 8 counts, then out for 8 counts.
Breathe in for 9 counts, then out for 9 counts.
Breathe in for 10 counts, then out for 10 counts.
Repeat as many times as desired.
